What to bring, how we work, and what to expect when hiring a vehicle with Zoo Car & Van Hire.

Driving Away with Confidence

At Zoo Car & Van Hire, we aim to make the process of hiring a vehicle as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. Whether you need a car for a weekend getaway or a van for moving house, we’ve outlined the key things you need to know below. This ensures everything runs smoothly on the day of your booking. 

To hire a vehicle with us, please bring the following: 

  • A valid UK driving licence (both the photocard and any required endorsements). 
  • A recent proof of address (dated within the last 3 months, such as a utility bill or bank statement). 
  • A credit or debit card in your name for the security deposit. 
  • Drivers must be aged between 21 and 75 (age restrictions may vary depending on the vehicle). 
  • You must have held a full driving licence for at least 12 months. 
  • Additional drivers can be added to your booking, provided they meet the same requirements. 
  • Please arrive at your scheduled pick-up time to avoid delays. 
  • Our team will walk you through the vehicle’s features and complete a pre-hire inspection with you. 
  • Ensure you have all required documents with you to finalise the hire agreement.

We accept the following payment methods: 

  • Debit or credit card payments for the security deposit. 
  • The hire balance can be paid by debit card or bank transfer. 

Please note, we do not accept cash payments.
